" The Holy Spirit by Jesus"
                                                                               
I. Four Actions Necessary for the Filling of the Holy Spirit (John 7:37-39)
   A. If any man thirst...[DESIRING/YIELDING]

      1. Invitation is to Any Man

      2. Invitation is to Thirsty Man

  B. Let him come unto Me and drink...[COMING/DRINKING/ENTHRONING]

      1. Coming to the Lord Jesus Christ

      2. Coming for the Purpose of Drinking

 C. He that believeth on Me as the Scripture hath said...[BELIEVING/RECEIVING]

     1. Faith must be Exercised in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 15:4, 5)

     2. According to the Word (Colossians 1:27, 2:9,10)

 D. Out of his Belly/Heart shall flow Rivers of Living Water.[EXPECTING/FLOWING]

     1. Belly/Inward Being/Heart of Man is the Channel

     2. Rivers of Living Water/Holy Spirit

As the Mighty River of God moving through us, as long as we do not grieve, through sins of omisson, or quench,  through sins of commission, the Holy Spirit's flow, but instead remain fully yielded,  He will continue to flow unabated as we by faith expect Him to accomplish His work through us.
 
II. Grieving the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30) Sins of Omission

     A. No Praying

     B. No Witnessing

     C. No Bible Reading

     D. No Memorization/Meditation
 III. Quenching the Holy Spirit (I Thessalonians 5:19) Sins of Commission
     A. Corrupt Thought Life

     B. Lying to Others

     C. Cheating Others
IV. Works of the Flesh (Galatians 5:19-21)     vs.     Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22)
     A. Immorality                                                       1. Love: Agape/supernatural/sacrificial actions toward an imperfect person
                                                                                                 Storgos: Parental Affection
     B.  Idolatry                                                                          Phileo: Brotherly Kindness
                                                                                                 Eros: Lustful Emotion
     C. Intolerance                                                        2. Joy: Outward expression of bliss
    
     D. Intemperance                                                    3. Peace: State of quiet, calm, confident serenity-No worries
    
                                                                                   4. Longsuffering: Refusing to return harmful words/actions given you

                                                              5. Gentleness: Kindness to  others shown through actions

                                                              6. Goodness: Display of right and honest motives

                                                              7. Faith: Full trust in God-Regardless!

                                                              8. Meekness: Humble, lowly, unselfish, controlled strength

                                                              9. Temperance: Moderation in all things, self control
